We chose to cruise with Viking because of it's excellent reputation. The Cities of Lights cruise enabled us to spend time in Paris and cruise several rivers of Europe. Some of the locations on the cruise were to places we had visited 40 years ago when I was conducting an orchestra on a month long tour through this region of Europe. We were anxious to revisit wonderful locations such as Berncastle, Heidelberg, Rothenberg, and Prague.

The ship's crew was outstanding in all respects, the food and wine... excellent! Our room was well taken care of in a very prompt and excellent manner. The meal menus were varied and servers were well trained and most pleasant. We so enjoyed the local entertainment that came on board at various locations along the river portion of the trip.
