We are platinum members on Princess. We were again advised to buy a plus or premium package with our cruise. We had done this last year (same ship, same month) and all was ok. We are not big drinkers but do enjoy wine with dinner and a few cocktails while cruising. We purchased the plus package. $7000 later we boarded our ship. Our deluxe balcony room was our first disappointment. If u sit on the toilet and drop something your head hits the door retrieving it. The area of the bath must be about 4x5 at the biggest point ( inside shower to wall). Walking between bed and wall about 1 foot. The sofa (haha) is less than loveseat size. But the biggest issue is after we paid 100’s for a drink package- the wine served has been bitter every night. It is not even the Pinot listed on the plus menu. As for being “waited on”, service for drinks in all areas but the main dining is non existent. Why should they wait on you when they have your money already-stupid me! As for using their marvelous medallion ap to order- I have ordered a minimum of 5-drinks daily and have never been served the first drink!!!! Of course the ap says delivered. If you speak to anyone about this, which I did several times, they get you a server but I still never got a drink. I could go on and on but my message is- no more drink packages and no more Princess. Fool me once- don’t fool me twice!!
