The Retreat experience, when boarding the cruise you enter a separate entrance designated for Retreat guest. You are escorted to an elevator which takes you up to a lounge area that you are greeted by a host that goes over your information. You are released to go on board or you may relax for a while and enjoy food and drinks. We choose to go aboard.

The ship was beautiful, very much like the Edge, which we sailed twice before, with minor changes. These ships are by far more sophisticated than previous Soltice and Millennium series. It does take a little adjustment, but once you have you may not go back.

The Retreat lounge is a wonderful place to relax. It is quite large but yet warm and inviting. That is where we were during our sail away. In the Retreat the serve light food during the day. It also has its own bar and dedicated concierge. I have saved the best for last, the private sun deck. So many seating options. It takes up about a 1/3 of deck 15. It has a pool and hot tube, along with a great bar and cafe, where we had lunch a couple of days.

Cabin Review

Love the location and how they are a bump out due to the Magic Carpet. However it only passed by once on our seven days and it was actually fun to watch. Of course there isn’t anyone on it so there is full privacy.
