Where do I begin?

We booked the Paris to the Swiss Alps river cruise in 2019 to sail in 2020. Unfortunately due to Covid our cruise was cancelled that year. While rescheduling, the Viking representative suggested that we take a voucher that would be totally refundable with a 25% upgrade to our room. We took advantage of that offer believing that we could cash it in at any time. What a lie!! We were stuck with a voucher that had a two year expiration date so we were forced into taking a cruise in 2022, which we didn't feel comfortable about due to Covid.

One of the requirements for the cruise was to be fully vaccinated. When we got onboard the ship, no one checked our Covid card to see if we were vaccinated. Surprisingly no one checked our passport or identification. We could have been imposters and Viking would have never known it. Read more
