A portion of Iguazu Falls. We were on the Argentina side viewing the Brazilian side. The falls are 1.5 miles wide and wrap around in a U-shape. Niagara does not compare!
Quite windy going around Cape Horn. That is me enjoying it.
The Andes at dawn.
My lovely room.

This was a cruise that included 5 adult family members - all over age 55. My sister suggested South America and we mulled it over and did some research before settling on it. The comfort of the ships, the meals, the entertainment and the excursions were all fine tuned. The staff met our needs before we even new we had them. One of the things I enjoyed most were the speakers on a variety of topics. They were especially knowledgeable and welcomed questions. Of course I loved the excursions and learning about the histories and cultures of Chili (and it's wines), Patagonia, the Andes, Ushaia, Argentina, penquins and especially Iguazu Falls. It was an unforgettable and wonderful trip. Going around the tip of South America was a huge event and included some strong winds. The captain assured us the ship could easily handle it and that was so. South America seemed remote before I visited. Now I feel connected to it.

Cabin Review

Plenty of room and space for personal items. Bathroom quite nice for a cruise ship.
