We chose this cruise because it included numerous places that we had not traveled to before. We also liked the fact that it ended in London (Greenwich) enabling us to spend additional time there and in the Cotswolds.

Pros: The Viking Ocean experience was what we expected. Attention to cabin detail, great staff, wonderful meals and smooth sailing. I liked the ability to dine in many locations from casual to fine dining. There were no issues getting seated when we needed. The wait staff is over the top attentive and very personable. We had a fantastic voyage and are looking forward to our next one.

Cons: The ship did not always dock close to the excursions into the listed cities, often requiring alternate transportation back to the ship. I would also add that Viking could do a better job at describing the effort needed to expend on their excursions. We missed numerous sights due to some people on our bus's inability to keep up with the guide. This necessitated the whole group to wait up for several challenged people. They could do a better job of letting people know how strenuous or easy an excursion will be. Separate bus grouping for levels of fitness would work better.

Cabin Review

Penthouse Junior Suite with Balcony

Great space, loved the heated towel racks and floor. We constantly used our balcony and enjoyed the every day stocking of our mini bar.
