Health reasons kept us from our original cruise in June 2022. This was a backup cruise and was the first one that we had ever taken. We were very pleased with the cabin, service, staff and food. The excursions were a lot of fun and the atmosphere was festive due to the Christmas markets. The tour guides were very knowledgeable, friendly and really tried to make sure that everyone had a good time. The Viking staff went out of their way to make sure that we had a wonderful time. The food was very good. We had a large contingent of Americans on our ship and they even served Thanksgiving Dinner since we were traveling on that holiday. Everyone connected to Viking made our stay memorable. My husband has difficulty walking and the accommodations made for him were over the top. It is easy to see why Viking has such high satisfaction ratings.
