Grand Tour of Europe. Donna and I choose this trip for 2 reasons. November was our 50th Wedding Anniversary and we wanted to do something special. Donna never travel outside of N. Americn before. The other reason was that when I was in the Army I was station at Nuremberg West Germany for 2 years and wanted to see what changed and what didn't. The Army left Merrial Barracks (the old SS Baracks). All but the main building had been replaced. The prade ground down the street where Hilter had his rallies, only one of the three sides remained in part.
We started the trip in Amsterdam a couple of days before we boarded the ship and our tour guides were excelent. First stop we got to visit a windmill. Then onto Germany for several stops. Austria was next then Hungrary. All the tours were excelent.
The Tir crew was excelent form the captian on through the whole crew. The meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner, to include the wine excelent. The ship's crew even gave Donna and me (Paul) wedding anniversary gifts for our room and at our next to last day aboard at dinner a anniversary cake. That was so special.
