We had been to Europe many times but had never been on a river cruise and people had told us how enjoyable they were. We signed up for a Viking River cruise in 2020 but because of Covid it was canceled. I was very impressed that Viking refunded every dollar without any hassle and at that point I decided when we would be able to travel again it would definity be with Viking.

I love European history and always wanted to go to Berlin and Prague. So, we picked the Elbe River Cruise. We spent 2 nights in Prague then 5 nights aboard the Beyla and the last 2 nights in Berlin. The nights in the cities were at great hotels close to restaurants and sites. The nights on the Beyla were really enjoyable. The food was good and as much as you would want. The night entertainment was fun, and the staff were very friendly and remembered our names and what we liked to drink. Sleeping was very quiet and restful. The whole time was at a very good and leisurely pace. We never felt rushed and there were many optional side tours available to pick from plus the included tours were very interesting. Really enjoyed the tour guides. They were very knowledgeable, and some had lived through the communist times and their stories were fantastic. Would recommend signing up for optional tours early since some may be filled.

We enjoyed it so much we have already signed up for another Viking cruise this year. This was one of the best trips we have taken. Highly recommend it.
