Viking was the best cruise for my wife and I. My wife and I lead very busy professional and personal lives. Viking was the PERFECT cruise for us. There were no screaming kids, no casinos, no loud pounding music. It was quiet and relaxing, there was always somewhere you could go onboard where it was quiet (besides your cabin). Or if you wanted to interact with the other passengers, you could do that too. The food was very good, the staff was amazing, the ship was clean.

We were definitely on the younger side of the demographics (we are in our mid 50's). The port calls were spot. If you didn't want to go on a Viking shore excursion, free shuttles were provided from the ship to the city center where you were docked if you wanted to explore on your own (which we did more than once). Again, this was a perfect cruise for us. Viking hit it out of the park as far as our expectations.
