We had never been on a cruise before and my partner had never been to Europe. We wanted a way to see parts of Europe without having to plan much on our own and a Viking cruise seemed like the perfect way to do that. From the moment we stepped on to the boat until we left on our last day we knew that we’d made the right choice. We were treated with graciousness and made to feel like we were the only people on the cruise. The excursions were a delightful mix of history and holiday celebrations (it was a Christmas market cruise after all!) and we thoroughly enjoyed every stop we made. We did one optional excursion and it provided us with an opportunity to see part of the country that was simply magical. Finally, we made friends that we have kept in touch with since the cruise and look forward to traveling with them again some day.
