Had a wonderful experience on the Romantic Danube cruise from Budapest to Nürnberg in Fall of 2017, and couldn't wait to book another river cruise adventure with Viking. After Covid-based deferments in 2020 and 2021, we finally we cleared to sail in June 2022.
It was worth the wait. Even though the ship's staffing levels were not as robust as on our earlier trip, there was so much excitement and enthusiasm both on the part of the crew and the passengers.
The local food on board reflected the geographic areas and ports on the itinerary. Local German White Wines, and French reds abounded.

efficient, clean, comfortable... great views of the river; great temperature control and furnishings.
