We booked the Iceland and Norway cruise in 2020, but were unable to go. We finally made it in 2022. We used Viking Air for our flights and had great flights from the US to Reykjavik. We arrived early in the morning so Viking picked us up and took us to a conference hall for breakfast and to wait until we could board our ship. Once on the ship, all the staff were friendly and willing to help. They gave us champagne while we waited in the lounge for our rooms to be ready. The room, a deluxe balcony, was perfect. Plenty of room to unpack and store suitcases. We brought the magnetic hooks for the walls to hang our jackets. The bathroom is really nice. Not only do you have heated floors but the shower was large enough to move around.
The food on the ship was wonderful. We ate in all the venues and loved just about everything. I highly recommend the steak at Manfredi. Even enjoyed high tea on one of the sea days.
The Iceland-Norway cruises takes you to beautiful small towns along the coast. We enjoyed the included tours as well as the scenic sailing. We were not able to stop at the Faroe Islands but Viking added another port in Norway along with a free tram ride to the mountain top.
