This is the first cruise for us in more than four years and we were so looking forward to this trip. The embarkation process was smooth and painless. We showed up at our appointment time and were onboard within 45 minutes. Service was fantastic in all of the restaurants and we had a wonderful steward. The ship was beautiful, clean and new. The negatives began with all of the extra costs that no information was given prior to cruise. Most of the activities that were suppose to be complimentary had a fee. The Northstar, I fly, flowrider and other activities charged a fee when we tried to make reservations. Everything had to have a reservation and the only free times were when we were in port. Very disappointed!! The whole cruise had extra and unexpected charges. The first lobster was complimentary but if you wanted a second one it was $16.99. Ridiculous for how much we paid for this cruise. The beverage package was way overpriced and the drinks weak. It was just one disappointment after another and feel like we were nickeled and dimed to death!! Will not be going on another Royal Caribbean ship. We are going back to Princess.
