My wife and I cruised with Ama on the Rhine a few years ago and had a great experience. We booked this most recent cruise without hesitation. It turns out that perhaps we should have hesitated as dealing with Ama prior to the cruise was a struggle and the actual cruise experience was very disappointing.
Let me start by saying we booked our cruise in 2020 however due to Covid we delayed the trip. Our dealings with Ama regarding that initial booking was very frustrating in that Ama said our cruise itinerary was "modified". Our contention was that since the dates changed, the port of embarkation changed, and multiple of the other stops changed it was in fact "cancelled". Ama declined to refund our money thus we did the recent cruise. Ama was not accommodating at all.
