Selected to enjoy the newest Oasis class ship in the fleet. Sailed with about 6200 fellow passengers (92% capacity). Wonder of the Seas lives up to its name. Port visits included: St. Maarten, St. Thomas and Coco Cay. And it was a perfect day at Coco Cay - weather conditions allowed for the balloon ride. Wonder departs from Port Canaveral which in my opinion, is too small and dated a terminal for such a large ship. We were booked in a Sky Suite on deck 17, part of the new Suite neighborhood introduced on Wonder. The neighborhood includes a dining area (Coastal Kitchen), lounge and a new sundeck and pool on deck 18.

Ship offers high end entertainment options, large spectrum of dining experiences, and very good service. Would rate the ship's physical entertainment experiences very high - on-board surfing, water attractions, rock climbing, carousel , original theater productions, water theater, pools, spa, casino - all make this ship an ultimate resort.

In general service was very good, but not stellar. Dining service fell short in a couple of venues (including the suite dining Coastal Kitchen), but the majority of restaurant experiences have superior service. Another issue experienced by all is elevator wait times. With 6000+ passengers, elevators just cannot accommodate passengers with reasonable with wait times. This should be assessed on future generation ships. But it on a whole, it was an excellent vacation experience and would sail this ship again.

Cabin Review

Grand Suite - 1 Bedroom

64 Starboard GS. Deck 17 & 18 comprise the suite neighborhood which include the CK/lounge on 17 with a sun/pool deck on 18. Cabin has plenty of room and storage. Nice sized balcony with both lounging and dining furniture. Enough USB charging ports throughout the room and the second pull down television over the bed is a nice bonus (but interesting that it can be inadvertently turned on while in the stowed position by the living area TV remote). One issue we found on this deck is it takes a long time to get hot water early in the morning.

Perfect Day at CocoCay

The best water park and beach resort I've been to.
