Traveled with children

We were a couple with a young kid (18 months) and traveled with BIL’s family. We chose this cruise because we wanted our toddler to have access to some pools (there’s a small baby splash zone onboard that allows swim diapers) and BIL’s family wanted some of the fun amenities on royal ships.

Day 1

Embarkation was smooth. We happened to arrive earlier than our set time but they took us anyway and there were no lines. The buffet was busy but we found a spot easily, and cabins were ready shortly after 1pm. We didn’t do much - took a nap and had dinner in the MDR, walked around all the decks. We checked out the library in case they had kids’ books (none, pretty lame selection).

Cabin Review

Owner's Suite

We had an ocean view stateroom on the lower decks. It was great! Efficiently laid out, minimal noise, and good views every day.
