There were several factors that attracted us to this cruise. The itinerary was excellent and was very well paced. Our interests focus more on discovering and exploring new places, than on the "at sea" cruising experiences. This cruise had the perfect balance of both.

Viking's all inclusive pricing was another major factor. The included shore excursions were very good and the anytime specialty coffee was appreciated, the included wine/beer with meals was also very nice. Other cruise lines we have experienced nickel and dimed us at every turn which was always irritating, even charging for bottled water.

The dates of the cruise were important. We wanted to be traveling over Christmas but there were very few cruises available. This turned out to be a huge bonus! Our Viking ship was the only cruise ship in every Greek port we visited, meaning there were no crowds!

Cabin Review

Excellently appointed cabin. Plenty of outlets to charge our cell phones, tablets, watches, etc.
