Everything was well planned and executed. Excellent food and beverage options. There was a good variety of on-shore excursions, from easy to stenuous. Five stars for service and educational presentations. Nice variety of on-board entertainment, from Vegas-style productions in the theater, to jazz and dancing in the nightclub setting, to intimate performances by a guitarist or a pianist or a string duo in the bars. The spa and exercise facilities were very welcome. The stateroom was very comfortable, and the wi-fi was better than I expected. The staterooms were available to us earlier than promised, and our luggage was delivered reliably.

The holiday celebrations were very well done and a great deal of fun. It was nice to see the non-denominational Christmas and Hanukkah celebrations, though we did not attend and so we cannot comment on the events.

We've booked our next Viking Cruise for the Great Lakes and are eagerly anticipating the journey. We recommend Viking very highly!
