Cabin:

Everything about the ship itself was fabulous. The excursions were very variable and in some cases I cannot understand how research in advance would have determined that these were all suitable excursions. The excursions ranged from excellent to head shakingly poor.

Ship: great cabins, amazing staff, terrific food, excellent guitarist, very good pianist, so-so classical duo, interesting academic lectures. I have only good things to say about this ship. Loved the spa, with its huge jacuzzi, steam room and snow grotto!

Excursions: Terrible excursion on Puerto Rico - far too long a bus ride on a bone shaker, catamaran crew who acted like irresponsible teenagers in a fraternity, mediocre snorkeling. Overall, the snorkeling was poor on all excursions. The snorkeling site on St. Martin was more like a rubbish dump than a coral reef. Great included excursion on Tortola, and terrific kayak/hike/snorkel excursion on St. Thomas. The trips on St. Lucia and Antigua were pretty good too. All others were somewhere in between.

Cabin Review
