Itinerary was seemingly perfect for us. disappointed that key west was eliminated, although not viking’s decision, the compensation did not make up for a lost port. the ship, the stateroom, the spa and thermal pool were excellent. we appreciated the excellent service on the ship and thought our fellow passengers were compatible. the food was excellent, we enjoyed the restaurant more than the specialty sites. we appreciated the staff wearing masks, as we are still very concerned about covid on a ship. and we appreciated the supply of masks for passengers, but were disappointed in how few used the masks. we were particularly concerned at the buffet. the outdoor eating area could have been bigger and more shady. and it seemed that the outside service staff was less well trained than the restaurant staff. all in all, as frequent cruisers we particularly enjoyed viking and would consider cruising with them again.
