As a group of friends we always try to book a January vacation and this did not disappoint, we were VERY lucky with the weather which added to the enjoyment.

I had read reviews stating that Liberty was showing her ‘age’ which I found bizarre as she’s really not that old at all! Sure enough we saw nothing that indicated any lack of attention or repair - except the large screen poolside which made no difference to our experience at all.

The ship felt ‘full’ with a mostly US, Canadian crowd along with some Central & South American thrown in the mix. The atmosphere was friendly, youthful and a little boozy. Short cruises do attract the younger noisier demographic so bear this in mind if you have other ideas!
