Sail Date: Dec 2022

I just read a review that was very long, so I'll try to be concise. This was a 7 day New Year's Eve sailing out of Le Havre (Paris) with stops at Southampton, Hamburg, Zebrugge, and Rotterdam. Because this was a holiday sailing, the ship was at full capacity, with over 6,300 passengers. For some reason, there were a lot of children on board.

Pre-Cruise: Spent 3 nights in Paris, which we enjoyed. Took a train to Le Havre, which was a bit over 2.5 hours. I posted a video on YouTube called How to get from Paris to Le Havre by Train for a Cruise or Whatever, so you can search for that if you like. Took a taxi from the Le Havre train station to the port, which cost us about 10 Euro.

Embarkation: Pretty fast. No major issues. They did ask to see our vaccination cards, but no covid testing was required.

Cabin Review

Clean, huge balcony with obstruction that I didn't think was too bad, but my girlfriend didn't like having to look at the lifeboat. Still, it was quiet and centrally-located.

Port Reviews

Brugge (Bruges)

Visited Ghent. Recommend Bruges on your first visit, Ghent on your second.

Hamburg

Visited Lubeck, which was very quaint and worthwhile.
