We travelled in November 2022, the ships first sailing this season ex Brisbane. Only one port of the three on our itinerary was available - Noumea - due to Covid. This was a pity but beyond the cruise line’s control. All South Pacific ports have now reopened.
Boarding at Brisbane was very efficient and quick. We were onboard within an hour of entering the terminal and our cabin on Deck 11 was immediately available. We were very happy with this balcony mid-ship - heaps of storage room, plenty of hanging space as well as drawers, small bedside tables with storage area (charging point and light station here too), plus overhead storage above the king size bed. The bathroom was big enough for a full size shower, large vanity and again, loads of storage room. Excellent lighting in both the cabin and bathroom too. The balcony was a good size with comfortable armchairs and footstools. We enjoyed time away from the crowded ship each day in our peaceful balcony spot.
There was plenty of surface space for our gear, two built in USB device chargers at the desk, sufficient power points (US - take an adaptor). Best of all the cabin had a kettle with everything required for tea and coffee making - this was a serious bonus for us! Fresh milk is available in the buffet daily. Luggage fitted under the bed and out of sight. The cabin had plenty of seating with a desk and chair plus a lounge. Our cabin steward Raj couldn't have been more helpful and he looked after us superbly over our 8 nights onboard.
Balcony cabin, midships, huge amount of storage, great bathroom and able to sit outside in comfortable chairs with footstools. Great water pressure in shower. Spotless and well taken care of by cabin steward
