My husband (DH) and I just returned from 11 days in the Caribbean on the Norwegian Pearl, in an aft penthouse suite (#8132). The cruise was a partial transit through the Panama Canal. The following are our observations - a wonderful time, with a couple of small hiccups along the way.

Embarkation:

We embarked in Miami. The new NCL terminal B is beautiful, but things got off to a rocky start for us (keep in mind, this is a 1st world problem - not huge, but a little disappointing). We reserved an aft penthouse suite, which gives you all the services and perks of the Haven except the Haven restaurant lounge and pool. Priority embarkation with lounge and concierge services with welcome specialty lunch, butler, concierge, breakfast and lunch at a designated specialty restaurant, priority disembarkation at port and post-cruise... We upgraded to this on our last cruise and loved it, so knew what we were in for...
