Sail Date: Nov 2022
Cabin:

We booked a balcony cabin on this cruise 2 weeks before sailing. It appeared value for money. For various reasons, we just needed to get away; just wanted to relax, be looked after for a while; ports not important. We have only been on one previous cruise and that was pre-covid, pre-recession etc, so we expected this cruise to be a bit different.

THE SHIP - we really liked it. Modern, clean, light. Good layout. Big ship does obviously mean lots of passengers but we still found quiet spaces. Can imagine the outside spaces might get crowded if it were a summer cruise.

THE CABIN - we loved. There are always 'picky' things when away from home, but nothing that would put us off returning. We found the storage OK. Ensuite well thought out; the shower cubicle was bigger than expected. There was some creaking and groaning noises at times but we just put that down to noises we should expect if we are on a ship. We could hear the noise of toilet flushing from other cabins quite some distance away. Funny every morning.
