I don’t know how to start. I’ve only been on a few cruises and to a few all inclusives and I can’t imagine having a worse time in a luxury environment.
Travel group: 6 adults and 4 children, all under 8 years. 3 of us have had lower body surgeries in December so we had one walker and two in crutches.
Check in:
It was fine. No accessible rooms were available so it was difficult with our crutches. The steward came twice to make beds. Nothing extraordinary. Gave us an ice bucket but couldn’t find anywhere to get ice.
We only had the one port. We got there late. Shocking. And then when we got off none of the free activities it said would happen did. It mentioned all these kid activities on south beach but we never saw them. The Ice cream shop was ala cart! I couldn’t believe it! It also took 45 minutes to get a drink. A long line and we’re told we couldn’t have a drink if we sat at bar, despite the fact that we were on crutches. It was a whole mess. Buffet had such a long line that we didn’t even try. We did get quick service at snack shacks which were the best part. There were sea lice so definitely bring spray. My littles had bites all over them. I don’t fault Msc for that. Can’t be helped. But I absolutely will for the rest. No free water for littles except for the buffet. Absolutely asinine. Only cabanas got walk around service.
