Sail Date: Dec 2022
Cabin:

I traveled with 3 other friends on the Mardi Gras for a New Year's cruise. We departed out of Port Canaveral on 12-31-22. These are the highlights of the trip:

Port Hotel: (I've stayed here every cruise and service is great)

Radisson Resort at the Port

Cabin Review

Large clean cabin with plenty of storage and access to the spa and elevators.

Port Reviews

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata)

Get away from the crowds and overpriced taxis and excursions. Go outside the port gate to the highway and negotiate with the taxis. You can get a car and driver for 4-5 hours and 4 people for about $80. The driver will take you everywhere you want to go and wait on you to site see, eat and the beach. You will pay when you return to port.

Grand Turk

Go to the quiet end of the beach near the bar Jack's Shack for a more relaxing time. Margaritaville at the port is fun and the younger crowd. The pools are nice. Shopping is average. Excursions are limited and overpriced.

Nassau

Take the city bus to Cable Beach or walk to Junkanoo Beach. Don't waste your time or money on day passes.
