This was our fourth Holland America cruise, and HAL had become our favorite line. But we will not set foot on Eurodam again. It is worn and going downhill. In need of a renovation soon. I paid for "Have it All" for our entire family of eleven, and WiFi connectivity was the worst we have ever experienced. That was extremely frustrating. In fact, we couldn't download our photos because internet wouldn't work on the last evening onboard. Now, once off the ship, the photos aren't available on Navigator app. And pleas for help to Chat, multiple phone numbers and multiple email addresses have been totally unresponsive. It's like the outfit is run by bots! We did think the food was very good onboard. The entertainment was good, but a notch below that on Rotterdam or Nieuw Statendam. Shore stops were all very good, but we booked our own excursions on San Juan and Saint Thomas. The unfortunate thing is that my family (all first-time cruisers) has been left with a very negative view of HAL despite the good things we experienced. Cruising is basically a service. Holland America seems to have forgotten that.

Deluxe Ocean-View Verandah Stateroom

OK but starting to show some wear. Verandah and its chairs and table were showing significant corrosion and rust. I saw significantly fewer maintenance workers on this cruise compared to in the past.
