Went on Arcadia for new year with my wife, this was our fifth time on Arcadia and we basically thought most things had gone downhill, so are listing our thoughts as pros and cons: -

Pros:

•	The Main Dining Room, considering all the negative reviews the food quality was much better than expected

•	It was good to see that some of the pre-Covid onboard staff have returned to the ship

•	The Waiters were all very pleasant, but see the Cons list below

•	No Plumbing or Air-conditioning problems

Cons:

•	The Main Dining Room, was very very under staffed, not enough waiters or supervisors, it was clear that some of the overworked waiters were under stress, the restaurant supervisors were very noticeable by their absence 

•	The My-holiday app was completely useless for booking dining arrangements

•	Freedom Dining should have a name change to ‘freedom to queue’.When we did enter the Dining room there was always empty tables, but not enough staff to service or reset them

•	If you wanted a drink in the main theatre you had to go and queue at a bar, we never saw a waiter in the theatre, we know that moneywise P & O and the Carnival Group are in a tight position but this lack of drinks service is lost profit

•	We believe that the onboard shops are still run by Harding’s, but the stock appeared to be below pre-Covid levels in both quantity and quality.
