OMG, We booked cruise with two other couples who had picked the port near where they live, tampa. At the time I was very excited to go since we had not been on a cruise since Jan 2020. I had read a few reviews before hand, it was noted that the ship was upgraded in 2019. Well, not sure what was upgrade ( added the slides??) We were on the Empress deck with a balcony, the first thing we notice our room was warm, had it checked a couple time not sure if they ever did anything but the whole ship seemed to be hot and cold in different sections. Our room at night was ok but during the day was warm/cool. So if I had known I would have brought a portable battery operated fan. I say battery operated because there was only ONE PLUG in the whole room. Make sure you bring a Five way extension cord. If you have My Time Dining what a pain that was. You need to make a reservation every night and morning The dinning room portion where small. If you wanted the prime cuts of beef or lobster you had to pay 23.00 in the dinning room. The food was fine, but we had never ever gone to one of the restaurants on the ship, It was so worth paying the 48.00 per person. You can notice that they do not have as many people working on the ship. Really only had 2 stage show and the rest was comedians The ship really needs a major overhaul.

Cabin Review

6th Empress balcony. You can tell its an older ship, But the beds were very comfortable. Only One outlet.
