This was actually a back-to-back cruise, continuing on after Christmas to include New Year’s, ending on January 3rd. 2023.

This was our 7th Princess cruise and first on the Regal Princess. Overall, a good cruise, with great weather except for Fort Lauderdale.

The dining room service was excellent for a change. The food was very good, but did not change for the second cruise, so it was a been there, done that kind of thing. We opted for the Buffet after that and it too had excellent variety and quality of food and you never had to fight for a seat. The Horizon Court and Horizon Bistro are quite spacious. One glaring flaw in the Buffet is that there are only two beverage kiosks for the entire Horizon Court and Bistro. The ice machines were down about 15% of the time because, duh, they are overworked. Whoever thought two beverage areas was adequate for all those people should have their employment status reviewed. Kudos to Princess for keeping the volume of music in the Buffet to a reasonable level, but the temperature is ridiculously cold. Half the folks are wearing jackets in there.
