We are frequent cruisers and have sailed on many different lines and size of ships, but over the last ten years have favored Royal Carribeans brand as our favorite line. Knowing that Celebrity is a brand under the Royal fleet and never sailing on Celebrity we wanted to try and compare what Celebrity offers as a premium line under the RC umbrella. We were not disappointed but frankly impressed with the quality of service, cleanliness of ship, room amenities, and much much more. Choosing a short 3 day cruise gave us that opportunity to check out the differences. This is a mid size ship that does not offer some frills of the newer mega ships, like waterslides rock climbing walls, and surf simulators but frankly these are not of any interest to us. Ship does cater more to those looking for a more classic cruise experience without those frills. Service was excellent in all venues. The food presentation in the main dining room, which is beautiful and intimate, was far above what we have experienced on Royal Carribean ships. Because of the short itinerary we did not experience the specility dining options, but wanted to experience the Metropolitin main dining food we heard so much about. The entertainment was very good, bar service was exceptional, and the Martini bar is a must visit. Overall, she has a few wrinkles but still shines in many ways. We were not disappointed but just the opposite, very impressed with Celebrity and Millenium.

Cabin Review

1st time in an inside cabin, same square ft as a veranda cabin at 170 sq. ft., beautifully appointed and layed out room with upgraded amenities, quiet and mid ship very close to elevators.

Port Reviews

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

Port everglades is not a very eye pleasing port but once in the terminal all were friendly and helpful, boarding was quick and easy. Parking is a problem at this port so be aware of limited parking directly accross from the ship, you may be shuttled by bus from terminal to terminal.
