So our cruise in the Haven started by being left out in the rain in a cold tent with zero drinks for an hour as the berth had changed. Outhouses were outside for your use and dirty. Then once onboard we had a better time until we went to bet in the casino and found all tables had been jacked up to 25.00 minimum because of the Holiday cruise. If you wanted a 10.00 table you had to be willing to risk lung cancer in the smoking box casino. Then on the second last night we had high seas. Our son when to get j. The shower and the door exploded in him cutting his arms and legs. The haven staff were amazing getting him medical care right away and he is fine. The security team on the other hand were not. Allthey were interested in was trying to blame my son for breaking it or being drunk which he had not had a drink. They were rude and just did not care about him. Even wanted me to sign paperwork that I would pay for medical care. Not a chance! Food was great. Service was good. Staff said they did not have enough crew as the boat was filled for the holidays. They were clearly overwhelmed and I felt bad for them. Wrote to Norwegian and the general manager on the ship. Got nothing. Not even an acknowledgment or a hope your son is okay. Not sure I will be sticking with Norwegian much longer.
