We chose Norwegian this time because they were the 1st to notify our cruise agent that they no longer required proof of vaccination. We chose this ship due to the itinerary and the number of days at sea. We chose our time of boarding to be 2:30 and it was the best embarkation we've ever experienced. We seemed to be the only passengers in the terminal and we walked right onto the ship. We heard later that it was a zoo earlier in the day! Shortly after boarding we were on our way.

The ship and our balcony room were very clean and the water pressure in the shower was great, the bathroom floorplan was very nice. We had nothing go wrong with our room the entire trip. A friend of ours had an inside cabin and for half the cruise he could not control the temperature and it got so cold he was sick by the end of the journey! They would fix it for half a day then it would be broken again. Like every cruise we've been on the crew were wonderful!!! Who wasn't wonderful you ask, the cruise director and the assistant cruise director, they had no rapport. They did not make a good team and other than being in charge of a few game shows and coming out after the nightly headliners at the theater they basically did nothing. I think I saw them around the ship twice in 12 days and I never saw them talking with passengers. Corey was the one with the personality and should be the cruise director!

Speaking of headliners we did enjoy most of the entertainment on board. Kellie Terranova was so funny I was crying he had 3 different shows all great! The dance troop were very good but one of their shows was a dud. The acrobats were amazing, the guy riding that giant ring WOW. The mentalists were entertaining, a couple things they did really made you think. There were two solo guitar/piano players that were great listening Leoh and Allen. Gen Maldonado was an incredible singer. The DJ had NO clue, any good DJ knows you play the types of music based on your crowd. You don't play hip hop and rap to a crowd of 50 60 and 70 year old's. Even the younger passengers didn't appreciate his choices.
