Ok, here we go. Older couple whose wife does not enjoy Christmas. Out of Ft. lauderdale, we sailed with the pandemic in the rearview. Howzit?
We had one of our best cruises ever. The ship was full, never know it. Plenty of hideaways, activities, pools, bars, etc, etc. A very well designed ship, a very happy crew, involved officers (first time we could really interact with the officers),; this was obviously the wish of the captain, who was himself visible.
Pro: food varied and very good. Much variety and B+ to A+ dishes. Highlight actually was excellent escargot every night, wife in heaven. Wait staff enthusiastic even trainees. Much dining room oversight. Sensing a theme here - well I have a background in quality assurance, you get what you inspect, not what you expect. Other food; buffet two steps above average, cafe service like lighting, room service very good, bars quick.
Nothing special, veranda nice with chairs and table.
