My husband and I were on Summit, the same itinerary, on Oct 2021 and loved it so much that we booked this cruise on the spot for the whole family. This was cruise #12 on Celebrity and cruise #42 overall for us. We've been cruising for 30 years, and this for sure was the worst Celebrity cruise ever. The 10/21 and 12/22 cruises were as different as DAY and NIGHT! I would say that Celebrity hit absolute rock bottom in absolutely everything - food, service, bars, entertainment, qualify, care, crew, cleanliness, shops, spa, ect.

Cruise began with a total disaster of a New Year Eve party. Leading to that was unpleasant exchange with a spa manager, who expected me to pay $89 for use of a steam room, even though Celebrity customer service advised me that the steam room is free of charge on the ship. Next, was the bar experience where they could not make their signature drinks because they had no ingredients. "She's worth the whiskey" could not be made without a passion fruit, and "Spicy strawberry smash" could not be made as they ran out of strawberries. We learned later that chocolate martini could not be made because they had no Godiva liquor, and there was no White Zinfandel on the ship ($5 retail price of a bottle of wine and they had a shortage of that too). And of course an unforgettable experience of a standup comedian show just before dinner that was all about poop and taking dump. Not kidding!!!

The anytime dining with an 8pm reservation left us standing for over an hour in line and over 2 hours service of tasteless bland food, not a holiday dinner for sure. First time ever we had to wait in line for an hour WITH a reservation.

Cabin Review

Concierge Class 3

Ultra Concierge, cabin 6136. Good location on the ship, large balcony, good cabin. You need to ask for everything that comes with a concierge or you will not get it. We did not see the concierge or captain club concierge in our 4 days on the ship. There was a total lack of service or attention of any kind.

Port Reviews

Cozumel

So tired of Cozumel! Every 4 day cruise is going to Key West, Nassau or Cozumel. There is no good shopping, no good beaches and everything is very very touristy and very very expensive.
