I took a lower Mississippi River cruise on the American Cruise Line boat the Symphony November 2-9. The boat and our room was nice, food was good and the crew was very friendly. The entertainment was okay, and some of the excursions were good some were not. The long bus rides definitely made some of the excursions less desirable. My complaint was the low water level. ACL can't help the low water but they were very aware of the issue and knew it would affect the cruise. We spent much more time on buses than I cared for. We were notified that we would be bused to Memphis from the Vicksburg area. We were in New Orleans at that time. It was way to late to cancel or reschedule. The cruise was greatly impacted by the low water. There was confusion in Memphis with rooms and breakfast didn't exist the day we left. I feel we should have been refunded something!! ACL did offer 30% off our next cruise but I'm not sure I'm interested in another cruise with ACL
