We had not previously visited many of these beautiful ports included on this cruise. Vikings included tours in each port were informative and just what we needed to acquaint ourselves with a new city or town. The guides were wonderful. We also had free time in may places to explore and discover. Onboard food was excellent, dining staff wonderful. Cabin, although small (it is a river cruise after all) but adequate for 2 people. Our cabin steward was pleasant and did a great job. The ship has no casino, no children, no loud music. Just perfect for a cruise of discovery. The entire ship was clean and tidy. The staff very helpful and friendly.we couldn't have asked for more. The embarkation and disembarkation process on may other cruise lines is a nightmare, not so on Viking. Fast, speedy, everything taken care of to make a smooth process. We booked an extended stay in Switzerland at a wonderful hotel and loved every minute of it. Viking never leaves you without some type of assistance even on the extended tour.
