This was our 8th or 9th cruise, so not an expert but do have some experience. We didn't get off to a good start as I spent $249 on Priority Access (PA) which didn't actually exist. You are reading correctly, it was fraud and I am attempting to get my money back and have filed a complaint with Norwegian. We arrived to embark and asked for the PA line which is part of the description. It didn't exist and three staff different staff members at the port didn't know what I was referring to...bad start. I told customer service about it, but no one got back to me. We only tendered one time, but were told PA doesn't apply because we were on an excursion. The trip was a debacle at the end as we arrived 11 hours late to port due to weather....everyone was a little tense already. People started getting off the ship and I asked two staff members about Priority Debarkation as noted in the PA description. Yep, neither had any idea what it was and we were not permitted to get in line, only those in suites. No announcement by the way. Oh, it gets better. I said to one lady, were in a Balcony Suite, and was told "Those aren't real suites" and my keycard had to be purple. Now you can imagine how upset I was at this point. Priority Access didn't exist and was fraudulently portrayed.
There were others things that were just ok, not everything was bad. The food was actually the worst we've had on any cruise. That said, the debarkation as a whole was a complete cluster. I have never been involved in one that disorganized with people yelling, pushing, getting in front of each other. We finally got off the ship only to be told to get in another line as our luggage wasn't ready yet. People were irritated and starting to push and step in front of others in line. Mind you we had been back for two hours at this point. I finally got to look for our luggage and after 10 minutes it wasn't with the yellow group. Frustrated, I said to one of the port workers "And I even had PA." She tells me our luggage was in a different spot....and no one bothered to tell us....wow. You would think it was that ship's first time with debarkation. The food was a C-, service an A, ship a C-. We don't plan go on Norwegian again as other cruises were far better. Overall, not a particularly good experience and I would not recommend it.
Very outdated, lack of drawers, and only two plug-ins. Our attendant was phenomenal however.
