We had planned this trip for several months then, the night before we were to leave, COVID started shut everything down(1999). We had been waiting for this trip to reappear on Holland's schedule, we were very excited that it was finally happening! (Nov. 19, 2022). We had cruised with Holland 3 previous times and had been satisfied with our trips.
Let me begin by saying the crew/staff were for the most part were great, everything else was subpar.
In our opinion the entertainment was terrible! They tried with two different comedians, we walked out on both shows, not funny and cringe worthy topics. The singers that were presented on the Main Stage were marginal and one girl was so off key it was embarrassing, also walked out on those shows. I know that all cruise lines lost a lot of money during the shutdown and are trying to recoup monies, but the entertainment was beyond bad.

Deluxe Ocean-View Verandah Stateroom
Our room VD1645 was small and tight. The bedding and towels were in good shape and the room care was great! Our patio furniture on the verandah was stained. The rug in the room was dirty(needed a deep cleaning) and was worn in places. Our room valets were wonderful and took great care of us.
