Sail Date: Dec 2022

We were on The Edge in 2021. First time with Celebrity. The ship is beautiful. 7 day Caribbean cruise. Only about 900 passengers. Amazing. Decided to go again. 10 day cruise, Southern Caribbean. About 1600 passengers.

The specialty restaurants except for the Steak house were amazing. Especially Eden and Raw on 5. Both times we sailed. Buffet one of the best except for Disney Fantasy which edges it out by a hair. Steakhouse was average. As for the 4 regular restaurants, they were very average to below average.

The cocktails were totally uninspired. Some downright dismal. They were somewhat better the first time but the second time, not really very good at all. The garnish, there was one, was typically a sad little slice of orange. That is a problem when you have a premium drink package. Service on The Magic Carpet was mediocre at best. Love the concept and loved sitting out there but I would like great cocktails to go with it. The majority of their bartenders just did not know how to make a drink unless it was something like a Pina Colada.
