Entertainment. Poor overall. Didn’t warm to the cruise director personally, prefer a more mature director. No decent shows, only went to theatre once and that was enough.
Food. Started off ok but got better as the cruise went on. Didn’t feel the Crown Grill was as high end as we’ve had on previous Princess cruises but was still nice. Sabitinis excellent. Buffet was ok but food usually cold. Burgers ok, pizza excellent. Strange that despite making all our reservations in advance for the MDR, we then had to wait for half an hour to get in. It did get better as the cruise went on, I think they were very short staffed.
Staff. Excellent staff, some of the best we’ve had on a cruise.
Had interior cabin, Baja Deck. Was reasonably clean, plenty of storage and love the big wardrobe area. Shower was absolutely tiny but the water pressure was very good. Had a few issues with the toilet flush throughout the cruise but was soon fixed by maintenance team.
On arrival, we noticed a few ants in the bathroom area, on the ceiling, not pleasant but they did disappear after a few days as we sprayed them with some air freshener we had. The bed was comfortable but duvet wasn’t great, all lumpy.
Was very hot in the cabin, although we had air con on low all the time, didn’t work very well.
Steward was fine, hardly saw him.
