We were scheduled to cruise on Spectrum before the Pandemic, it was of course cancelled so this was our first cruise after reopening of the industry. We were lucky to book the Christmas cruise, we were 24 in our group, including toddlers, teenagers up to Senior Citizens. One Senior in our group had a knee accident a few days before the cruise, so we had to bring a wheelchair with us.

Wheelchair friendliness:

We tried to check if the cruise can provide wheelchair, we learned that yes they can, but there will be charges, and that usually they will get it from a 3rd party provider, they could not give us a rate at all. So we decided to bring our own. At the cruise, we saw quite a lot of wheel chairs, most of them were more compact that ours' and we learned most of them were rented, there were motorized chairs as well. I saw at least 1 RCL logo on a wheelchair, during the cruise, so they do have at least one on board, most probably to help with embarkation and disembarkation.

Cabin Review

I think all Oasis class cabins have balconies, which is great, our cabin was similar to our oasis of the sea cabin, just 9th floor had better view. There were enough sockets for charging, balcony is great for drying out wet stuff. The Butler service is great!!!

Port Reviews

Penang

I think one of the best cruise destination in South East Asia!

Sooo many food to try!

Soo many stuff to see in one small place

A lot of places are within walking distance.

They also offered free hop on/Hop off Buses

Lots of street art!
