Took a 4 day cruise to Nassau and an overnight on their private island the week before Christmas so the ship was full with 4100 but never felt crowded except for once or twice in the buffet. Was this the best cruise I've been on? No. Was this a very good cruise for the price I paid for single balcony room on a holiday week, yes. Not a lot of frills so here is what you can expect. Ship was well kept, my balcony room was big, clean and everything worked, staff were all excellent (it helps to be nice instead of yelling at someone). Very good pizza in the buffet round the clock, good desserts, food in main dining room was sometimes good, sometimes terrible but our waitress Bernadette noticed when you didn't eat something and immediately offered to get you whatever else you wanted on the menu. The shows could definitely use some outside entertainers, all 4 nights were the ships cast singing and dancing with one night of a mediocre magician/comedian. My room steward Frances kept the room very clean without being seen or disturbing me. No holes in towels, missing toilet paper or rough linens so not sure what ship the other guests that complained about these things were on. The private island was well done with many different beaches to choose from and you can walk around the entire island in about 30 minutes and never more than 15 from the ship and they do have a large trolley making the rounds. They had bars and food huts but better to eat on board. Was a very young crowd compared to RCL, Celebrity and even Carnival with very few seniors/wheelchairs. If you paid a high price, I can see people being upset about some of the food and entertainment and the 90 minute check in line, but if you got a reasonable price its a very good value.
Balcony cabin all the way forward, 8022. Big, well laid out, shower with a door that didn't leak water onto the floor with great water pressure. Frances kept it very tidy.
Wanted a beach vacation. Overnight at the island when you could can off and off anytime was convenient. Was very reasonably priced during a holiday week that the whole family had off so affordable options were limited.
