Cabin:

Cunard really need to get it’s act together, the ship is failing in so many areas.

Constantly changing the excursion itinerary, length of stay at ports, even the various destinations of the cruise is both annoying and frustrating. Information provided via the pamphlets left in cabin bare no relationship to the information on their onboard website. Confuse the two at your peril - cancellation fee 15% for trip that changed from morning into afternoon. No Lisbon stop, Madeira just one day rather than two etc etc.

The entertainment is very hit and miss. They seem to have recruited from two separate agencies - professional and utterly shambolic. There is one singer in the ballroom that would be an ideal partner for Les Dawson and his iconic ‘bad’ piano player act. She is so ‘good’ bad that some of the audience laugh at her attempts to be entertaining. While other entertainers like the classical guitar player and the Commodore Lounge singer are worth watching.
