This was our sixth Viking cruise & it was outstanding (as were the previous cruises). From the captain to the housekeeping people, all crew staff were very efficient, always friendly & always willing to exceed our expectations. The food was consistently good with enough variety to keep things interesting. Our favorite dining experience was at Manfredi's. Their food was outstanding & their ribeye was one of the best meals I had. The World Café, The Restaurant & the pool bar were all good. The ship is the oldest ocean cruiser which means it was built is 2015 which males it almost new compared to other cruise lines. The crew was always keeping the ship in great shape. They were painting the side of the ship white to cover the tug boat skids when we came in from an excursion. The excursions varied from outstanding to so so much of it depending on the topics & the guides. Our first excursion Was in Costa Rica. It was entitled Costa Rica Hacienda which was eight hours, but one of our favorites excursions in six cruises. Because if was 4 hours in a bus, they had a bus that had comfortable seats & good air conditioning. It was very informative walking us through the harvesting of coffee beans to the brewing of the coffee. They also took us through the making of fresh brown sugar from the pressing of the sugar cane to the heating & cooling process to make brown sugar.. It tasted so great. Our guide, Percy, was outstanding, mixing humor with content & working with the 3 ranch hands that did all of the mixing & cooking. Very entertaining. Our next excursion was in Roatan. My wife wanted as beach day so she went to the Tabyana beach & had a relaxing beach day. We then were in Belize seeing the Altun Ha Mayan ruins & an "Old" Belize City bus tour. The ruins were very interesting, but the city bus tour did little to promote returning to Belize City. The last shore excursion was in Cozumel. We had not been to Cozumel because of all of the cruise ships & tourists (alright this describes us), but the Mayan ruins were outstanding & our guide was, too. Very energetic & knowledgeable. All of the excursions are very well organized with plenty of Viking assistance at all times. We maybe be getting spoiled with Viking's consistently outstanding ships, crews, food & accommodations, but that is why we keep going back to Viking.

Cabin Review

Cabin space was very comfortable with a nice couch & chairs in a sitting room.
