Originally chose this cruise for the itinerary. Sadly, St Petersburg was removed due to the invasion of Ukraine, but Viking added beautiful and interesting ports as replacements. The service on the ship is impeccable. Food and beverage delicious. Plenty of interesting things to do in port and on-board. I did tire of the time spent on large touring buses on excursions, but honestly, most of the guests seem to have some sort of mobility issue so difficult to have more active excursions. And then guests don't pay attention to the excursion descriptions. For example, we signed up for a 10km bike ride and one of the other guests barely knew how to ride a bike. Perhaps my favorite day in port was in Oslo when we explored on our own - the Akershus Fortress, tour of Opera House interior, and wandered around the Munch museum. There are laundry rooms on most of the stateroom levels. Guests seemed shocked to discover this - and that there was no additional charge for the washers and dryers - although it is clearly spelled out in the marketing information. Viking takes very good care of their customers and their ships appear well maintained.
Not the largest room we've ever had on a ship, but plenty big with lots of storage and a comfortable bed. The stateroom attendants were professional, competent, and friendly.
