This cruise was my daughter's dream vacation for years. We scripted and saved to make it happen. The crew was an absolute delight and the ship was immaculate, but that is where the good ends.
The food at the evening dinner service was on par with your local hospital. It desperately lacked seasoning. The gumbo was tomato soup with okra and tiny specks of seafood. One seafood pasta dish was so fishy that the waiter recommended I order something else with it, so I have a backup up meal ready to go. Thank goodness I did because the pasta was so bad that it smelled like a fish market on a hot summer day. The food that was honestly the best quality was from room service, but then you end up tipping quite a bit each time so you spend a ton on food that should be included with the price you pay for the cruise.
The pools were small and overcrowded most of the time. The quick service food locations were closed at odd times. The food at those was basically what you'd find at a mall food court. The buffet had a couple of tasty items but it was packed and many items were cold.
Comfy beds and it was very clean after we moved from our dirty and vibrating first room that felt like I was on a funhouse shaking floor.
