Our stateroom was good and cleaned twice a day. Embarkation and disembarkation was chaotic and didn’t maintain scheduled times; some people were also complaining about missing their flight because disembarkation didn’t start until 7:45am when stated on the itinerary 7am. The workers worked very hard and were always very polite, but some gave incorrect information. The problem with the ship was that it was overly crowded, getting food and sitting was a mission and stressful. There was no one way direction on the four food stations and they all didn’t offer the exact same thing. I found it to be very disorganized. The architecture of the ship is also very confusing when getting from one end to the other. There was also a long wait at the restaurants and the food wasn’t that great. We tried the restaurant for breakfast to see if it had a more relax atmosphere and they sat us with two other families without asking. Finding chairs for tanning or being at the pool was complicated as well. The elevators would group passengers and once inside the floor couldn’t be changed. Due to that, many people opt to take the stairs since it would be a 3-6 minute wait. The children’s care was also disorganized. It was more childcare than a club where children can stay at their own leisure or parents’ daily plan. The kids would be taken in and out of their designated areas several times throughout the day causing us to readjust our schedule, and In my opinion causing more unnecessary stress on the childcare workers. There was also very limited entertainment and not very appealing. The children were also put to dance throughout the day as entertainment for the grownups; have not seen that before. Overall, not happy with this cruise as it should be a stress free and joyful experience making it a one in lifetime experience. This was our first MSC cruise and will try to avoid for future sailings.
